About International Students Centre

The International Students’ Centre was founded by the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University with the intention of promoting and disseminating knowledge and scholarship at the global level.

Established in 2009, ISC is the nodal agency through which admissions of international students on the university campus and in affiliated colleges are taken care of. Within a short span of time since its establishment, we have been empaneled by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi for enrolling international students to pursue higher education.
The ISC has in order a systematic functioning to facilitate the admission process of international students. It is responsible for addressing the needs and issues related to international students and its Director serves as a local guardian for them.

The Centre will soon be running English Proficiency Course for the international students. The Centre is committed to the cause of international students and extends its utmost cooperation so as to make them feel at home. The Centre coordinates with different Embassies, Security agencies as well as Intelligence agencies in order to facilitate the visa/residential permit/scholarship issues of the international students.

So far, the Centre has enrolled international students across fifteen countries namely,
Afghanistan, Congo, Djibouti, Iraq, Italy, Kenya, Libya, Qatar, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tuvalu, Vietnam, Yemen and Zambia.

The International Students’ Centre is a nodal center of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded catering to the Admission and other needs of foreign students entering the University.

International Students’ Centre acts as a single window interface between the foreign students and university Administration.
International Students’ Centre also acts as an interface between students and FRO to maintain their details and make their stay at University a smooth and pleasant experience.
The role of International Students’ Centre starts when a students’ approaches for admission to various courses. The eligibility of the students is checked and provisional admission letter is issued on payment of necessary fee.
The student when reaches the campus and with a valid visa, International Students Centre confirms the admission with final admission letter. The student is directed to the concerned school.
International Students’ Centre maintains all the records of the students during their stay.
